Every lawnmower we have ever owned has multiple settings for the blades. This enables you to choose how high you want to cut your grass. Finding one should be no problem. It is a lever on the side on the ones we have now.
If you have a riding mower, it should also have guide wheels that will move with the terrain so if you need it to raise in a area you make sure the wheels roll over it and the deck will go up as the wheels do.
Hi Sarah, lawn mowers normally have a height adjustment for the blades on the body portion of the mower. Here's a link that describes how to change the level. Perhpas it will help you. You could likely find exactly where the adjusstment is located if you can find what brand and model your mower is and do a google search specific to that model.

The blade is adjustable on all lawnmowers
Most lawnmowers have a height adjustment on the wheels. This raises the lawnmower body. Older lawnmowers or cheaper ones don't have this. There are kits available to add the the wheels to make it adjustable.
Any riding lawn mower already has that.
here is more info for you and most riding and push mowers have adjustable heights for your blade you can go to the mfg. website of your mower to get info on how to do this to your mower

Every mower I have owned has had adjustable blades.
Hello, Yes, just ask at store for adjustable height mower.
Yes, every lawn mower has adjustable blade heights.
The mowers I have seen have adjustable heights for the lawn based on how short or tall you want the grass to be cut at the place where the body meets the wheels. You can manually adjust it there, this is a much more practical adjustment then changing the height of the blade which would be very complicated mechanically.
Hi Sarah, all lawn mowers have adjustable wheel heights, so you can mow the grass higher or be able to clear obstructions like tree roots, hope this video helps you out,

You can adjust the front and rear wheels higher or lower with the lever on mowers by the wheels. If that is not what you mean then please repost with a more detailed question.
