Clean and remove any loose paint. If you have any rust, remove with a wire brush. Then you can prime any areas that need it and spray paint. I would recommend RustOleum brand.
Spray paint is an easy why to update metal furniture!
Use rustolium paint on metal only so it will protect it .It comes very nice .
Just like with any paint job the prep is the most important part. Sand, wipe off with damp cloth, prime and paint. Apply the spray paint in very very light applications (almost a mist). You want to avoid runs that can ruin a paint job.
Is there any rust? If so you need to take care of that.
How To: Spray Paint Metalhttps://www.bobvila.com/articles/how-to-spray-paint-metal/
I agree that spray paint is a great fix and holds up well, too!
Hi Bonnie
You could add decals and there is a product called Wallies that come in flowers, animals, etc you just dampen and add to furniture and they can be removed easily too. You can paint the furniture then hand paint flowers or other decor on them as well
Outdoor spray paint meant for metal should do the trick. Just make sure you do perfect prep - get any flaking paint off and make sure they’re really clean - or the paint finish won’t last long.

Use spray paint or a paint sprayer, but I recommend a painting tent so it doesn't blow in the breeze.
You can use spray paint or an oil based paint to repaint the furniture.

Hi Bonnie, before you start clean furniture first. If there is any rust, remove with a stiff wire brush. Once the prep work is done and everything is clean and dry, you are ready to paint. I would suggest using Rustoleum. They have loads of colors to choose from and built in rust protection. You might want to go with 3 coats of paint. Remember light handed spraying is the secret to success.
