I've had several homes with very large living rooms, so I like to float the furniture in the room to create a couple seating areas, tv viewing area, and reading nooks. Floating the furniture means you don't put stuff against the walls, I prefer 2 sofas floating in the living room with a coffee table between them, end tables, and sofa tables behind them with lamps usually in front of a fireplace or large windows with view, or the TV - creates a nice .conversation pit for the family or company. Another area may have 2 club chairs with a table between them and a lamp, the table may be large enough round you can use it for games, or crafting. I also like a couple tall bookcases or etageres to show case my rock and shell collections, and now I've inherited my Dad's decoy collection. https://blog.modsy.com/home-design-tips-guides/tips-guides/floating-furniture-ideas/

It sounds really long and narrow - which can be hard to furnish. Think about doing a few groupings - maybe a table and chairs for games and puzzles, a grouping of seating for conversation and maybe a lounger and bookshelves for reading.
is there currently a focal point for the room? Maybe a fireplace or picture window?
yes a bay window
I love the zone idea. Reading, conversation, TV, etc. Here are a few more ideas. https://www.apartmenttherapy.com/long-narrow-living-room-deas-254700
Divide it into two areas with tall shelving units. Add a collection of pictures to the back of units, whether art or family pictures and make a leisure area to read or just relax in a lounger and talk.
When I have a design issue in a room, I go to room design website and play with the elements there, because I need a visual. You can add furniture, rugs, etc, so you can get an idea of the spacing. https://roomstyler.com/3dplanner.
There are many ways to handle a long and narrow space. You can divide the space up into different areas for different types of seating, use screens to visually divide the space. Or have fun with paint along one long wall to connect the spaces together. It depends what your goals are and how you plan to use the space, how it functions for you.
you can set up zones like a spot for an office, dining room or card table for games and crafts, separate seating areas lots of possibilities
30' is a long stretch, I would have to break it up with some kind of an interruption. Maybe a bookcase or a screen of sorts.
What do you have in mind for the space or are you just looking for ideas?
Since you have a bay window, personally I dislike anything in front of windows, it is so nice to be able to just step up and see what is outside without an obstacle. I would keep that area clear.
Beautiful curtains would also frame the window and complement your decor.
Look to the floor to help break up the area, a transition in flooring might help you, like a different tile color or pattern between the 30' length. Or if you have a laminate or a wood floor, a change in pattern could break up the singular floor theme.
You might try putting the sofa around the 15' mark. Make a reading or eating area on the back side of the sofa with tv or other entertainment in front.
