Hello. I’ve had excellent results spray painting. In fact I spray painted craft fabric leaves gold bronze and silver and made a wired garland to display during the fall. I particularly like the Rustoleum metallic spray paint
Place your leaves in a shallow box and spray paint with metallic gold paint (Rustoleum is excellent). Several light coats will work great, then turn them over and do the same to the backside. Painted leaves can be beautiful!

Hi Julia, it's going to depend on the type of leaf you use. Hard leaves like holly, brush cherry, or magnolia work beautifully when you use spray paint.
