Hard question: Making a Hydraulic garage?
Hello hello,
This wil be my first post on here and its gonne be a hard question as wel.
Im thinking of building a underground garage. This garage will be for my motorcycle and will be set-up with a hydraulic system.
I was searching on the internet for some ideas/inspiration but i cant find a guideline or a book how to build a hydraulic lift. Ofcourse it will be hard, but there must be something where it has been written out right?
Maybe you guys can help me or have some good ideas.
Kind Regards,
Oscar

Here is info on how to do this. I would consult the experts for this because of the permits, safety issues, etc.

Wow, kudos to you, that's a difficult job and an expensive one too I imagine. You'd best be in touch with your local building department before doing any work. You also may need to consult a structural engineer and/or architect as well, depending.
You should check to see what is required by your city and your insurance company. What they say could dictate what you do.

Make sure you check with your local building codes if that is allowed. You may need permits for concrete walls, platform and hydraulics.
Hello there,
Maybe you ought to get an Architect involved with this project , they will know what permissions you will require to do this.
Home Depot carries them now and runs them on sale regularly. My husband was thinking of doing something similar and I was surprised at how good their prices were.

You would use something like the machanics use. To lift cars up in the air and lower sort of like a elevator.
