Get a bottle of oil and wicks. Drill a hole in lid, to put wick through, fill bottle with the oil, screw tops back one, set around deck and light.

You could make the soda bottle plant tower that is on here. I don't know how to link the post or I would. Another idea is to cut the top and bottom off and along the length to make a rectangle and use the metal to make imitation tin ceiling tiles.

I like to cut them open, and cut out leaves. Paint the leaves, shape them into a wreath or a bottle flower and put that into the garden.

I was also given a case of them as the person "just knew if anyone had an idea it would be me". Well I haven't made anything yet but I am planning on cutting the bottoms out of about 6 or so and making them into a gathered hanging pendant light fixture like you see all over with jars! I have a few other things to get done first but hopefully it will be done sometime soon!

you can paint them, can't you? Punch holes for luminaries, candles are cheap, or you could use citronella if you're outside. Cut the tops and bottoms off and cut a seam up the side to make "tiles". Or cut the tops off and stack and attach in a pyramid to make cool storage, just make sure to cap the ends since they'll be sharp.

I have been cutting the tops and bottoms off with tin snips and made them flat, hopefully flowers or something unique one day. Love to see what you do! Smiles,Cyndi

Sorry don't have pictures BUT cut can to flatten. Take old CDs and trace. Cut can, glue to printed side of CD, punch hole at top of CD, Do several and hang as mobile. Did this with Monster cans,,,they are really thin metal. Gave as gift and didn't take picture. Wish I had. Oh yeah, I took the bottom of can I cut to cover the hole on the shiny side of CD. Had 8 different types of Monster drinks so my mobile had 8 discs on it, Used fishing line to hang.
