Carol Burkhardt Rask on Apr 12, 2015I'll have to think on this for you, I'm for sure no expert, but in the meantime, maybe box it in with crown molding and attach it to the ceiling and then paint it with a color of your choice... : )Helpful Reply

Marion Nesbitt on Apr 13, 2015To me, they look like an industrial style which I think suits a workshop. I have a variety of same - I just make sure I have soft white bulbs instead of those glaring bright white ones.Helpful Reply

Debra Grieve on Apr 13, 2015Yes, they do. Cool white, warm white, and daylight. Carol and Marion have good ideas You could build a small "box" around it and put some glass in it (maybe frosted), or plexiglass which you can also paint "frosty" or paint with glass paints. You can make it as fancy or plain as you like....have fun.Helpful Reply

David Gnida on Apr 14, 2015Simple piece of metal screen. All sorts of patterns out there. Bend it to a semi circle and attach it with 4 small pieces of jack chain at each corner or close to corner.Helpful Reply

Marilyn on Apr 14, 2015I don't know if this would be compatible with your personal style but the home improvement stores and online stores sell a product that looks like stained glass. At one time I used one that was something along the lines of a Magnolia blossom pattern on a door that I wanted to obscure the view. They also have Craftsman style patterns and even a sky pattern. They are reasonably priced and are easy to use. They also have frosted and something similar to clear leaded glass patterns as well. Good luck in solving this to your satisfaction. I am considering doing something like this to the ones in my shed.Helpful Reply

Jean on Oct 26, 2015How about just painting them in a bright, bold color? Remove bulbs, tape anything you don't want painted, and spray away.Helpful Reply
