Can you wallpaper concrete block walls in the basement?

Hi Deborah, Better to Paint and Stencil rather than wallpaper, it will never be a good job and you will never be happy with the result!Helpful Reply -

If you wallpaper directly onto the concrete block, you will see the shape and crevices of the blocks. Instead, use wallpaper liner first and then wallpaper.Helpful Reply -

I think I'd paint them --- wall paper will show every hump/bump/divot in the blocks, as well as the seams .... or you could put up very thin paneling and then paper it ... after it's properly sealed/primed ...Helpful Reply -
