I have two guys at home and they both use a lot of different men's products so if they leave them on the counter for more than a day I just put them in a basket I placed on the floor in the open space between the two sinks. It is not the best solution but it does kind of go with my coastal theme because it is the same color as the hemp and burlap I used in the rest of the decor. It also gets rid of the cluttered look.

Recently my good friend used old drawers from an old dresser, painted them and hanged them in her bathroom on the wall for more storage. She staggered 3 of them. They were thin so they did not stick out far and enabled her to put a little decor on the tops too. We put a book shelf at the end of our tub on the counter space at the end of it for more linen storage. Some people add a second rod on the inside wall of their shower/bath to hang baskets for all the soaps, shampoos, body soaps, and conditioners as well as a lower one for the kids to put in their water toys. Hope this gives you some ideas to build on. I have never been a fan of storage over the commode because it is so easy to drop something or knock something into the commode water. Well, I hope this helps you some.

Are your walls hollow? You could add extra medicine cabinet(s); and if you don't want them to look like mirrors just put some art on top, maybe even frame it! A lot of home recycling places (like a habitat for humanity store) have cabinets for cheap.
