How can I store towels in a small bathroom?
I have a friend living in a room at an assisted living facility. Storage space is limited and I'm trying to figure out how to store her towels and face cloths in a small bathroom with limited wall space. Because she has to use a wheelchair I can't place things on the floor that might be a hazard, Thanks for any and all ideas.

I would place some Baskets on the area of the wall that she can access. If you fold them place them in a line, so she can see exactly what she is pulling out. I hope that sparks for ideas. 🌹
Hi Maggie,
Does your friend's bathroom have some wall space available to hang a basket? If there is, use Command hooks to hold a basket for her towels. If no room in the bathroom, perhaps a wall near the bathroom door would work or on the door. Just be sure to use Command hooks rated for the combined weight of the towels and basket and follow directions on the hook package to install.
You are such a good friend to try to find a good solution for her!
Best wishes to you both.
Maggie, I’m at home now in the same sort of situation. I had all my towels moved below my vanity. I have soap and shampoo and toothpaste, etc. next to them. But I can’t find a place I can reach for my lotions and cosmetics. Since there is no more storage room inside or outside of the vanity, and no drawers or pulls from which to hang a small basket or two, I’m thinking a metal fruit triple basket, hanging on a long chain and a strong cup hook from the ceiling. Smaller towels and washcloths could line each basket, providing a place for zip-lock bags of personal items to rest. Maybe your friend could use a couple of these nested, hanging, expandable baskets. Best wishes to you both!
There are a number of hanging towel holders for the back side of the bathroom door that will hold several days of rolled towels and wash cloths, Some people put a small basket on the floor with rolled up towels and wash cloths, or think of motel metal frames that hold rolled towels to go on the wall near the mirror. You can buy those at home improvement stores. If there is a way to even put the towel/wash rag holder on the inside of a cabinet door, this might give her some added storage, or use the wire baskets to hang inside the cabinet doors to put rolled towels/cloths.
You could mount one of those wooden crates you can find at Michaels or even walmart and put her towels and wash cloths in there. Another idea is using the back of her bathroom door. Maybe hang a towel rod low on the back and drape the towel on that.
