I do ...I use paper guests towels
Why not have a hand guest towel on a separate rack for them to use?
Yea I would remove them and put some in that you want mind them using, if there staying over place personal towels on respective beds, I wish we were having company, you enjoy your Christmas no matter what
my house is very informal...I let my guests raid the towel closet...my mom likes the thinner towels....I like the thicker ones and the guys grab what ever is handy..
I would hang a hand towel by the sink or lay it on the sink. I would hang a clean set of towels where you normally hang the towels.
I have a towel bar which I designate for them. The rest of time it has fancy towels on it.
We all keep our personal towels out of the bathroom when we aren't using them. We all have towel hooks in our rooms to hang them. I always have a towel on the counter and a towel in a ring for guests, but that doesn't mean that is what they will use, especially if there are kids
I would put an over the door hook on the bathroom door for your guest's towels/pajamas, etc. It wouldn't be fair to make your family move their stuff for a guest--- and the guest wouldn't want that either.
Depends on if it is overnight guests or just guests that visit for an hour or two. When we used to sail on Cunard a lot, I noticed that they used wash clothes as hand towels in the lavatories. I do this for our downstairs bathroom. I keep a square plant pot on a shelf there with a bunch of washcloths in it. I painted a paint stirrer and wrote "guest towels" on it and stuck it in the front of the pot. For overnight guests I put their towels on their beds and have hooks in their rooms to rehang them after they shower or bathe.
