How do I make over a small bathroom on a budget?

We are trying to get our house ready for sale, and we are on a very tight budget. Our boys bathroom is still has the same white on white on white decor that it had when the house was purchased, and we want to update it.

White and black are timeless. Find a white and black print shower curtain or make your own with a white sheet and a glued-on design of wide black grosgrain ribbon. Mix white and black towels and use black and bright metal accessories.

I agree, if selling and it is already white, don't change that. You want to keep things as bland as possible so buyers can see their own design on things and will most likely paint themselves anyway. I would just add some accessories to bring in color. Things you can take with you and use again.

Get it as clean as possible and check for drips, leaks, discolored grout. Then yes, I would agree with the other Home talkers about using accent pieces. I would also add a live plant or fresh flowers to the room to make it look fresh! Good luck!

A pretty new shower curtain in black and white. Some black and white prints. Maybe some architectual pictures from buildings in your area. Make it look adult, not a kids bathroom.

keep othet accessories to a minimum if space is small.
