How do I shorten a new shower liner without losing the magnets?

I have new clips that let the shower curtain and liner be lower and I cannot move the rod any higher. I will hem up the curtain but hate to cut off the liner and lose the magnets.

Velcro! Use a washable glue to attach strip (s) of velcro and fold over. -

Cut magnets off of your bottom, cut each one separately and glue or put in your new hem. -

Make a Fold Down Hem about 6" from bottom................... -

shorten the liner from the top... and make new holes for the rings (if you fold it over sever times it will prevent the holes from tearing out. -

You could fold the liner and then glue it. -

i would say any kind of craft glue would work. If all else fails, E-6000 will work. Make sure you seal the edges with glue so water can't get inside and allow mold to start growing.
