How to use tin for a shower stall?
I want to rip out tile and replace with tin but I’m afraid of the moisture and mold if not sealed correctly. Has anyone done this before?

Anyone use barn tin for a shower?
I think it will rust.
Here is a very detailed step by step set of instructions. It explains to use pole barn screws and rust inhibitor or some other type of clear coat. Good article.

Cute idea! We stayed at a house, (built from 7 barns!) on the South Shore of Lake Superior that had tin on the shower walls. Here is that post, I have a picture of that bathroom in it. I'd recommend being sure the wall behind the tin is water proof. I'd use this type of water safe backer board and paint it with this kind of red guard, sealing all the seams. Then apply the tin, probably using silicone in the screw holes too.
I absolutely love your idea. Please keep us posted with your results. I’m working on a old dresser using the corrugated tin for doors. It’s been a challenge. So I’d love to see your results.
yes, my Dad used it, in our basement, never rusted. The basement walls were block.
make sure any seams are overlapped from the top, so no water gets in.
