Are you asking about the 4x8 panels or roll out kind? Either way, I don't think you would want to put them in high moisture around like around the tub.

First off, I agree with the others, that's really not a good idea. Also, you should really remove any tile before installing anything else. It give you a more solid secure base to work with,
Not over exiting tile. Tile would need to be removed. The added weight can rip the tile and stone off the wall. Water and moisture can get behind and cause bigger problems.
