Night Stand Refurbish!

My friends had these night stands custom built. The tops started to crack and peel from moisture. They were costly so I offered my advice on an alternative that would withstand moisture from drinks sitting on them.
I sanded the tops and cleaned the surfaces. Using SimpleMat a product which makes small projects easy. This is a double sided adhesive. Placed the Simple Mat on the furniture then placed the 12" x 12" moasic tiles on the mat. Used pre mixed non-sanded grout. Wipe down with a wet sponge, keep cleaning till all the grout is cleaned off. Wait till day 2 then use grout sealer. That's it! You will be using these night stands that night.
