You can buy special Elastic Suspender that do that job. They go across at each corner and hold it rigid. -

You can get elastic sheet "suspenders" that have clips on the ends. Theycome 4 to a package. -

When my hubby was driving truck the newer trucks came with a mattress that was off size, it was between a full and twin in width. We got the sheet suspenders at Bed, Bath and Beyond to keep his bottom sheet on the mattress.
