You can buy special Elastic Suspender that do that job. They go across at each corner and hold it rigid.

You can get elastic sheet "suspenders" that have clips on the ends. Theycome 4 to a package.
When my hubby was driving truck the newer trucks came with a mattress that was off size, it was between a full and twin in width. We got the sheet suspenders at Bed, Bath and Beyond to keep his bottom sheet on the mattress.
