How to build a platform storage for under King bed

Question

I need ideas that are nor complicated and CHEAP!!! I would like drawers in this as I desperately need storage for off season clothes. Also how to use the entire space with drawer type storage.

Pinterest.com should have instructions for you... as for cheap... try looking at thrift shops for an old water bed frame... many of those had drawers or storage under them and one could easily be re-purposed to use a regular bed... with or with out the head and foot boards... or find one or more old dressers (you mainly want the drawers, if you don't want to build them yourself)

I've seen platform bed frames made out of tall, narrow shelves laid on their sides. Use the shelves across either side and across the bottom (cutting them down as needed) then you can use wicker baskets etc. inside the shelf openings around the whole bed.

If you don't need a platform bed that bad, put risers on the bed and use underbed boxes. With the risers you should be able to put two on top of each other if they have wheels. You can also store out of season clothes in the bags you vacuum down. You can put them under your bed in areas you don't have the underbed boxes. It will keep the clothes clean and you can just pull them out and wear them. You can also store them on really high shelves in closets, or even in the garage or basement and they will stay dry and clean. I have my bed on a taller riser and use both the bags and the underbed boxes and still have room to store other things under my queen bed.
