Can someone tell me how to fold a fitted sheet so that it fits nicely in my linen closet?
The father back you go in the closet, the less height you have to work with.
Our home was built in the mid-50s and closets are small or almost not existent. The two guest rooms have bigger closets than our master bedroom. What can I do to cr... See more
I have a small walk in closet and one way I organize is by making use of the wall space. I hung hooks and pegs on the wall to hold hats, jewelry, belts and more. A shelf in the closet holds all my shoes in clear plastic containers so I can see what is inside. I make use of baskets and boxes under the clothes to fill with items I don't need right now. I hope this helps you organize :)

I have a small closet and I too have a board with hooks at the back of my closet. Purses/light jackets/sweaters go here. I store out of season clothing in a couple of big plastic storage bins stacked on the bottom of the closet. I have a small, open 3 tiered organizer where shoes go. I always have things to go to Goodwill, to be cut up into rags, or to be used for messy jobs like cleaning out the garage. The best thing I ever did for my closet though is arranging things in sections-tank tops, short sleeve, etc. I see exactly what I have and don't waste time looking for things. Lots of ideas online also for organization ideas.
Try the KonMari method of only keeping what you love and then folding everything in bins
