I use skirt hangers. Just clip the top of the boots and hang on a rod in the closet. It works! .
Do you have a little room on your clothes rods to hang cloth shoe cubbies from Walmart? Works for me. Easy peasy!

Or you can roll up old magazines and out them in your boots and line them up. I put mine in the steps going up.
Or you can make use of old cooldrink (fizzy drink) bottels. Cut of the top part and keep your shoes pair by pair in a bottels. One for each pair.
Found a small childs dresser on the curb that someone was throwing out. The drawers were shot. I threw it in my trunk, and took it home. The drawers were thrown out. My hubby is making me two doors. I am going to paint it with chalk paint and distress it. It has a bottom and then two "shelves" that the drawers would have rested on. Perfect for shoes and my hubbies work boots. Paint I already have, wood he already has, so this will be practically free!! Free is good.
