I’m building bookshelves in a big coat closet...need some ideas

I do something decorative on the outside of the closet. Need some ideas. We took the closet doors off and right now it just has molding around the door?

I would dress the edges up with some big bold wood trim! Wide and fancy..
With all the books and other things in the closet, I would just use nice looking molding or walnut paint around the outside of the door. A bead curtain would be colorful, but not appropriate unless you have other boho decorating elements nearby. You could mount glass or plexiglass doors or insets, plus strings of lights inside, for a semi-exposed library. I like your priority. ☺️
