Years ago we removed all the carpeting in the house. Now we have a big gap from door to floor. Any way to extend the length of the door, replacing all the doors in the house would be to expensive.

Remove the door, glue and screw some wood to the bottom of the door. Home Depot, Menards, and Lowes have clean surfaced wood in the wood trim aisle. Pine, maple, oak. Match what your doors are made of. Predrill and countersink the holes.

if you are not all that handy..or renting..check the weather proofing isle. there are devices meant to stop the cold air from coming in under the doors. they are made of plastic, about 2 inches wide and 36 inches or so long and have a self adhesive strips to stick on the bottom of doors. 2-3 dollars each i think.. my 4 exterior doors have been outfitted with them, and 1 interior door-for the person who works nights and need to sleep in the day.

At your local big box hardware store you can find what is called a "entry way door sweep". They run around $10/ea. There are several to choose from and they are all somewhat adjustable.
