I agree . I don't know about where you live, but some municipalities, do not allow planting next to meters, a container garden can easily be moved.Helpful Reply -

Make a large bird house that sits on the ground and slips over the meter. If a meter needs to be read cut out the area for the meter. Paint the bird house or leave it natural. You can also customize your bird house to match your home. Add door, windows, shutters, window boxes with paint and any other things you would like.Helpful Reply -
