I need a fence or garden wall for my apartment patio.

y apartment is on the ground floor with a small patio. The sidewalk and cars are literally about 10 feet from my patio door. I don't have any privacy to open the blinds. I'm looking for a simple fence or plant boxes to create a barrier and some privacy so I can use my patio and open the blinds for light.

Is this a condo? If so you’ll need permission from the association. If not, you’ve number of choices, like lattice or bamboo privacy fence as well as hanging a roll-up blind. Pinterest has many ideas and instructions for “patio privacy”.
You can get bamboo blinds inexpensively at HD and Walmart. Have a friend help you hang them. They look great, are paintable and adjustable.
