I'm familiar with the type of vent you have, but I can't find information on it. I will give you this page to look through, maybe it will help you.https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=clean+vent+in+ceiling+above+stoveHelpful Reply -

I run mine through the dishwasher. May take more than once. I used Cascade Platinum in the dishwasher. You can also soak it in Dawn before running it through.Helpful Reply -

If you can get the cover off - pop it in the dishwasher or soak it overnight in wash liquid and use a toothbrush.Helpful Reply -

Use Lestoil and some hot water, and soak it, rinse with hot water, and let it completely dry.Helpful Reply -

I didn't read your question right. Clean it with Lestoil, and hot water. Use an old rag first, and then use some brush to get what's left. Spray a rag with furniture polish, and wipe down the vent. This is the best way to keep the grease from sticking to the vent. The next time you clean it, it will be easier. Repeat after cleaning again.Helpful Reply -
