How to remove a melted microfiber towel imprint from my oven?

I tried to clean up spilled cheese in a hot oven and the towel I used was microfiber. It melted an imprint onto the oven floor. I didn't realize it would melt. How can I get the residue out? I tried iron cleaner but that didn't work. I'm going to turn on the self cleaning feature and see if that burns it off.

Heat the oven at at about 200 to soften the residue. Scrape off with a putty knife. Microfiber is made from polyester. It will melt.

Microfiber is fiber made from petroleum into plastic/nylon/polyester threads so yes it melts: if it's only imprint and not actual fibers self cleaning oven should do it,Do not leave it unattended in case it gets flame. Immediately hit cancel you still will not be able to open door to put out flame until it is cooled. so if it has any actual fibers that could catch fire don't use self clean do as William says, maybe use a razor blade too
