Remove rings on my glass dining room table.
Lay paper towels over the area. Saturate in vinegar. Let it sit a couple hours. Should loosen up the food and be able to wipe up easily.
I use Simple Green and a no scratch green scrubby and a razor scraper... to start... On a COOL stove top....Spray with the Simple Green and let set about 5-10 minutes to start loosening up the burnt on stuff. Scrub the area with the green scrubby and wipe with paper towels... use a Magic Eraser and the razor scraper on the really stubborn stuff. Then clean with a good glass cook top cleaner and finish with the cook top protectant following the instructions for each product...
Things always seem to land on the cook top... crumbs, spices, etc... ALWAYS clean off your cook top just before cooking (I use Windex and paper towels)
and NEVER use a soapy dish cloth or sponge... the soap cooks onto the top when the elements heat up.... Simple Green for greasy messes... Windex to follow up...
You can soak the top in a mixture of baking soda and water. You can use a razor blade to scrape at the trouble spots. There is also a kit, you can find it at most retailers, that includes the scraper, a scrubbing pad and some solution.
i sprayed on EASY OFF oven cleaner, left it for awhile and it wiped off beautifully!

My personal favorite...baking soda and 1 of those scour spunges with green on 1 side and yellow (sponge) on the other...little water so that it's like a paste....you can let it set...or if ekbiew grease....rinse well....also do not do this until space is cooled obviously..good lick
They have a cleaner for that at your local grocery store. It is a liquid paste. Pour on glass top stove, get a green scrubby and rub the mixture on the stain with the green scrubby. Let dry to a haze, like wax. Once dry buff off glaze with a dry cotton towel to a buff shine.
