Have you tried CLR?
Hi Diane, its really hardcore but The Works Toilet Bowl Cleaner really works on just about anything
Try a descaler. It's a bit pricey but Norwex makes a really good one. As long as it's a rust stain, not actual rust.
Have you tried Bar Keepers Friend?
Hello Diane! It may be that you will have to paint your shower stall with the correct products. Even if you can remove the rust now it's going to keep coming back. Covering the rust with the correct paint may slow down the rusting process and help your shower stall last longer before it needs to be replaced.

Diane: Gk's answer is just what I would do. You can find Rustoleum paint at any Lowe's or Home Depot (after the social distancing!). See attached link...

Try using Easy Off No Fume Oven Cleaner in the BLUE can. It does work. Works on enamel, porcelain, and fiberglass
Hi Diane, we live in the country on a well, I can relate to rust staines. I use iron out and it works really well. Stay well.
baking soda plus lemon juice make into a paste --- make sure to test inconspicuous spot to see if it is abrasive, don't use if scratches finish. use a cloth or soft sponge to gently rub the paste over the rust stain. Should come right out.
