I absolutely suggest you get some Folex Carpet Spot Remover. It's not expensive, you can find it on Amazon... and it's nothing short of miraculous. I had some carpet that was badly stained with cat urine. I had a furbaby that I loved who much preferred peeing on carpet or area rugs to her litter box. I ended up closing doors or just removing area rugs and living with bare wood floors. But, I had a small area of carpet right in front of washer/dryer... and OMG had she made a mess there. Over several years I think I tried every spot remover known to man. Sometimes it would look clean... but the stains would come right back. Then I tried Folex. Unbelievable... I would spray a spot and actually watch the stain go poof in front of my eyes... even before blotting... and the stains didn't come back. Stuff is a miracle!! Get yourself some Folex!!! and good luck! :-)

You can also use Peroxide. Put it in a spray bottle. Spray the spot heavily and allow to soften. Then take a hard bristled scrub brush to the carpet. Repeat process until it is all out. Peroxide will not damage your carpet color at all.

mix two parts peroxide with one part ammonia and dab it on the spot and then place a paper towel on top of it. Put a heavy book or phonebook on top of that and let it sit all night. In the morning your spots will be gone! My daughter used it this week to get bright pink ink from an ink pad out of beige carpet

Judy... Folex is like a miracle in a spray bottle. Those cat urine stains were several years old and had been walked on almost daily. I don't think the dirt and stain could have been much more ground in (ewwww.... when I think about it). Anyways, Folex made it all just disappear. Nothing else got even close. And it's not expensive... Like maybe $5-6 for a BIG spray bottle... Or get the refill jug and use your own spray bottle? I even use it to spot treat stains when I'm doing laundry. You'll wonder how you ever got along without it!!! :)
