How can I remove old stained fabric from an outdoor chair cushion?
The cushions are very sturdy, and would be wonderful to reuse them. Sadly the cover does not have zippers.I wanted to carefully remove the beautiful, stained fabric. Then gently wash the fabric and put it back on the cushions. Is this even possible?

Anything is possible. You can wash the cushions as is. Garden hose, bucket, scrubbie sponge, dawn dish soap will most likely do the trick. The set out in the sun to dry, flipping frequently to speed up the drying time. I do mine several times throughout the year.

If the seat cushion is removable (screws or something holding it to frame), then take it off and replace the fabric.
