carpet cleaner.. i have a little green machine for just that occasion. bissel company made them not sure if they are still in the market place....but carpet cleaning solutions are, .apply with a spray bottle. rub and blot. -

The best two products I’ve used for stains are:Oxy Clean, and 20 Mule Team Borax (both found in laundry section of the store in almost the same area). These two products are amazing...and the borax/water combo also will remove even the foulest smells—a renter or ours snuck a male cat into our rental house and had marked the carpet. Smell and urine stains GONE in one day!
