Looking for rug shampooer

We don't actually sell stuff here. There are only a couple of brands out there and you should go to as store that sells vacuum cleaners and personally evaluate the models that they have for sale. They are all about the same size, a bit larger than an upright vacuum, because they need to have room for the mechanism as well as tanks for water supply and waste water.

Dirt devil .go to Wal-Mart . Try one it is light . The ones they rent are very heavy .

I've had several of those small ones, save your money. I got a Hoover Steamvac with Surge Clean that I've used for myself and clients, its a beast and cleans amazingly well. Just did my client who hasn't had her beige carpets clean in 4 years.... she said it came out better than the professionals she hired to do it. Don't get a Bissell, my repair guy says Bissells keep him in business..... went through 2 vacs in less than year.
