  • Try using vinegar and follow up with hot water. We’ve found it’s the best to get it clean without harsh chemicals.

HI Kevin. I found a product that works great. Its by Clorox called Urine be gone. It really helped and got rid of the odor. I would spray it on the spots and dab up. If you have a carpet cleaner use this as a pretreat. Good Luck!

Try a warm water, vinegar and baking soda solution. Put on the stain and let sit for a while. Use a clean cloth to remove the residue, let dry and then vacuum to get the baking soda up from the carpet. Use a gentle circular motion when cleaning the stain.

I use one part peroxide and one part dawn dish soap. Try this in an inconspicuous area first as peroxide has natural bleaching elements which could discolor your carpet. I scrub the area with a firm bristle brush, and let it sit about 20 minutes. Then I dab up with an old towel. No stains, no odor.
