How do I remove dog urine stains from a jute fiber rug?
I've tried regular carpet cleaners and they don't work very well on this type of material.
Basically impossible. If wall to wall it's in your pad and you really should replace, especially if moldy. May even need to treat the subfloor. If area rugs, send them out to be cleaned.
If you have moldy smelling carpets, there is a problem. I would pull it up and see what is going on underneath. Chances are the carpet and padding are toast and the subfloor will need to be treated. Once you pull the carpet up, then let us know how good or bad it is.
