If it were mine, I would use Old English furniture polish. It takes care of such scratches nicely. It comes in dark wood or light wood, yours looks to be dark. Hope this helps.

get an old T-shirt and your iron. But the shirt down and then place the hot iron over the spot. The shirt should grab the melted wax. Don't leave the iron in one spot for too long or it can burn your table. You would only need 10-15 seconds at most. Those look like tiny marks. Do a little at a time and see how it works...you can always add more time...you can't take away damage from too much time.

That's moisture that's gotten into the finish. Use mayonnaise or petroleum jelly and spread even over the mark. Cover with a towel and let sit for an hour or two. Wipe off. If needed, repeat. Good luck.

If it's moisture, could rice work? Cover the area with uncooked rice, place a container or dry towel over it. Leave overnight for the moisture to soak into the rice. (Dispose of the rice afterwards- do not eat it!)

0000 Steel wool & some “Howard’s restore a finish”. The problem is that the wax/polish has built up. Someone loved it, waxed it and cared for that table. That moisture from the heat is trapped in there. I have done this with plenty of different furniture. Just be sure to go with the grain. If you haven’t used 0000 steel wool, it is very fine and not like an SOS pad. Best wishes. Happy easy restoration.

Toothpaste, select the white, not the gel kind, and rub it into the water stain using a soft, damp cloth. Wipe it off with a dry cloth when you’re done and finish with regular furniture polish.
