How can I remove the gold criss cross lines on the curved glass of old hutch?

Hi Vicki, a friend of mine used tea tree oil ro remove the gold etching on hers. Simply wipe it on and wait for a few minutes and then use a craft or utility knife and held it at a 45 degree angle against the gold line to scrap it off.
Hi Vicki, Never done it but you could try Nail varnish remover on the inside of glass or may be a Very Very Fine abrasive.........
Can you please post a picture. I would use Acetone.
I'd try something like paint stripper or acetone, etc. You didn't mention what you think they might be made of and that info would be useful.
