Use white toothpaste (not gel) and a damp cloth. Rub lightly in a circular motion.

Goor old fashioned white toothpaste using a microfiber cloth in a circular motion.
I had success with the following: Cigarette ashes with enough drops of vegetable oil to make a thin, not quite watery paste. Lightly rub mixture into mark using a circular motion with a terry cloth. (Emphasis on "lightly.") Mine was a small water mark but very white - I don't know how great this will be on a large one.
