Can you tell us any more?

Water stains white rings or are they black? Is this solid wood or is it a veneer? Do you know what kind of finish is on the table? Is it a modern or older table? What, if anything, have you tried? If you don't know the answer to some of these anything you share will help us to help you.

As you can see from my questions this is not an exact science. There are some simple fixes that work sometimes but nothing short of sanding and refinishing works every time.

If this is a water stain on a table - try Restore-A-Finish. Wipe on with a clean soft cloth, wipe off with another soft cloth. Rub with the grain. Wear Gloves and old clothing- it will stain. Available at Home Depot for about $9.00. Comes in colors to match most finishes.
