Simple Green is a degreaser and is environmentally friendly. Dish soap is also a degreaser and will clean your cabinets nicely.

Murphy Oil soap works well on wood.

Murphy's Oil Soap is the best!
I do mine and my clients cabinets with Dollar Tree Awesome Degreaser and Awesome Orange, while your there get the car sponge, the little round plastic kitchen scrubbies, and long kitchen gloves. I use the Orange in hot water first, then spray with the Degreaser where there is stubborn grease spots and scrub with the scrubbie. Wipe with clean water.
