How do you clean shower plexiglass doors and walls?
Heat it up and scrape it off. Get a washcloth and run it under the hot water tap. Wring out and lay over wax. Let sit for a few minutes. Use a razor blade, putty knife to scrape up. For the wall, I would wash it first and see what happens. You can try dabbing it with hydrogen peroxide on a q-tip or making a paste with barkeepers Friend.
It depends on what the tub and floor are made of. First scrape off as much of the wax as you can get off using a one-sided razor blade, being careful to not scrape a polycrillic surface if the tub is not porcelain and the floor is linoleum. Then, if heat will not damage the surface, you can put layers of paper toweling over the areas where there is wax to be removed. Iron over the areas, changing paper toweling as necessary until all of the wax is absorbed in the paper toweling. This is a time consuming job depending on how large the areas of wax and possibly the texture of the finish. A rough finish will be more difficult to get all of the wax off. A smooth surface can be scraped with a one-sided razor blade, but if you are working on polycrilic or vinyl you will have to be very careful to not scratch the surface, or use too much heat.
HI Leila. I use a old towel and lay that over the wax. Then take a iron and hold put that on the towel. Make sure to keep checking so you don't burn the floor. The wax melts and the towel absorbs it.
I’d use a razor blade to get most off then if anything is left use an iron and paper towels between.
To avoid scratching the floor try using a credit card to scrape off the wax and then cover the area wirh a towel and apply heat from an iron.
Definitely check that the wax is being drawn into the towel and the floor is not being
damaged by the heat.
