Easy=peasy Candylou ;) Clean the track in the door with a toothbrush and plain white toothpaste (no whitener needed LOL) and spray the shower doors down with the following product (if it's not in your store, ask for it to be ordered; it works beautifully!) :

They were in our 1980's raised ranch. It was an update to remove them and use a shower curtain.
I have found CLR, scrubbing gently with a non-scratch scrub foam pad (such as 3M brand) will cut through the thick soapy crud.
Rinse well with hot water mixed with vinegar.
Use baking soda with water. Apply, let sit for 20 mon, then wash with water & again with winded.
Anything abrasive is going to scratch it. I've found most window cleaners work well, but, plain alcohol and water will work also.
I use Dawn dishwashing liquid soap.
Try some soft scrub. It won't scratch.
Vinegar! Soak a towel and cover the floor with it and let it sit for a couple hours. Great for hard water stains.
If you have a motorcycle shop in the area, go in and purchase a Plexiglas cleaner that works wonders. All windshields on motorcycles are plastic and they always need a good cleaner. This be it!! Good luck!
For plexiglass mix 1/4 cup rubbing alcoho, 1/4 cup white vinegar, 1 Tablespoon corn starch, and two cups of warm water. Put in spray bottle. For walis, mix 2 teaspoons baking soda, 1 teaspoon Dawn dish soap, 4 Tablespoons white vinegar, and 1 and 3/4 cups warm water. Put in spray bottle.
