Hi Debbie, I have read that putting a couple denture cleaning tablets will keep a toilet clean. Try to let them set and fizz overnight.

Try some baking soda and vinegar. Baking soda is good for the stains. It has the ability to disinfect the toilet. Vinegar destroys the germs and bacteria, neutralizes the odor, and leaves it shiny. Get as much water as you can out of the toilet before you start. Pour a cup of vinegar into the toilet bowl and let it work for about half an hour. Dip the cleaning brush into the vinegar and pour some baking soda onto it. Scrub the side a little bit, then add more baking soda. Repeat the procedure until you used all the baking soda. Pour half a box of baking soda into the bowl(mug). Let it work overnight. Flush the toilet a few times in the morning until the baking soda goes through the drains. Swipe the sides of the toilet with a brush in order to remove grime, if there is any. The toilet will be left spotless and germ-free. I hope this helps you.

Add 2 cups of white vinegar and let it soak all night. Most if not all comes out with a brush. We use Mr. Clean Magic toilet brush to finish any remaining stains, or you can soak vinegar in the bowl again. I do it once a week to keep troubles away.
