How can I get super glue off my eye glasses?

How can I get super glue off my eye glasses? The frame broke so I glued it and a little got on the lense. I tried alcohol..no help at all. Is it hopeless?

Hi Patricia. I'm Cindy. I did a bit of reading to be able to answer your question. I learned that you could use an acetone-based nail polish remover on a cloth to soften the glue and hopefully enough so that you could scrape the glue off. Don't use this method if your lenses are plastic. Good luck Patricia.
Nail polish remover that has acetone in it.
CAREFUL! Acetone MELTS PLASTIC!!! If the frames are plastic, they will melt too!. If the lenses are glass , use a Q-tip and keep the acetone off the plastic at all costs! It melts very quickly into a gooey clump.
