rinse with white vinegar after every use
I change my dishcloth every other day. and I make sure to rinse it out completely each time I use it
i tend to use a clean dish cloth and towels daily. i have a bucket that i put all the kitchen laundry in, and will soak in laundry/ stain removal products b/4 going into laundry machine.
Always completely rinse the soap from the dishcloth each time you are through with it, then lay it where it can dry like across the divider in your sink.
Well this does happen to wash cloths too after a day, I don't re-use it because it's not sanitary unless you keep it in soapy water.
After rinsing and wringing it out, put it in the microwave on high for no more than 10 seconds. Clean and sterile.
I rinse it with hot water after using, and put it on a dishtowel rack to dry. I stick it in the dishwasher every time I run it, and when I do a load of laundry, I get out a fresh one. It never smells.
