To empty the tank..turn off water behind toilet below.. C.l.r. makes kitchen bathroom spray. Removes icky. Flush once after water is off. Tank should be empty, . if you want you could use baking soda to scrub off residue. Yellow bottle is the c.l.r. at home depot or Walgreen. Wear gloves and have little scrub brush handy.
Use Turbo Clean for toilet tanks located at the "as seen on TV" counter in Walmart. Just follow directions on box. No scrubbing!
