Yes! The acid from the coke will eat at the grime
Yes, u can also pour on ur windsheild to clean it
Yes if it is empty.
I would just get one of those round tank bleach tablets and put it in, it will clean it out.
I dunno but it sounds like a party for those darn little piss ants.
I haven't tried this personally but I just watched a video and it didn't work on the ring above the coke line. The bowl looked clean.
Round tank cleaners will also eat part of inards ofthe tank and cause it to leak. I learned the hard way.
tried it and used it overnight and it didn't work.
Well, I know it can make a chicken moist when cooked inside of it, so have a go, it definitely worth a try!
i would say no. pumis stone
In theory it should because of the phosphorus acid. I found it just would cling to the stains. Perhaps, if filled with cola with no water for a month, it would work...Lol Have a lovely day!!!
I've read and tried this, cleaning the toiled first. It didn't work using a can of Coca Cola so I tried a few days later using a whole liter of coke. Even that much didn't work. Maybe the water is too hard, although I live in the Pacific Northwest (Washington state) where our water is supposedly soft.
Phosphoric... Sorry
It sure will! And if you get thirsty, you can take a slug of it too! Just think how good it will clean out your s
Cleaning the bowl with a strong acid (like Coke/dietCoke) is a fair idea.
Unfortunately, you are asking about the tank.
Guess what: most plumbing inside the tank contains metal pieces. The acid can speed up oxidation (rust if it is iron/steel). Your plumbing may survive the first or even several uses. But in the long run, you will have to replace the guts of your toilet sooner! That doesn't save you time or money.
If your tank is seriously discolored, you do have hard water. If it is only slightly, then here is an easy fix
1 Shut off water to the toilet, then flush to drain the tank
2 Using either "baking soda toothpaste"or a homemade mix of baking soda & hydrogen peroxide, rub your paste into the stained porcelain & let rest 5-10 min to partially dry.
3 Pour distilled white vinegar onto the tank walls above the stain line. It will bubble like heck. This is a chemical reaction between the baking soda & vinegar releasing CO2, water, and a few chemical salts.
4 As the bubbles die down, turn the water back on & the tank will fill. Then flush 2-3 times to clear out the salts.
Depending on the depth of the stains, you may need to repeat weekly until you are happy with the results.
If your water isn't as soft as you think, you can add a monthly or quarterly cleaning of your toilet tank to your occasional cleaning schedule.

So instead of purchasing those expensive fizzies or abrasive toilet bowl cleaners, head to the fridge and let the carbonation of Coke work its magic on filthy rings, lime buildup, and water stains. Because Coca-Cola contains carbonic, citric, and phosphoric acids, it's great for tough stains and dissolving rust.
No it won't.
I'd be concerned about the sugar...try vinegar.
