How do I clean the bottom of my pots and pans

they are "clean" but look nasty

    Barkeepers friend is great at that. It requires some scrubbing but it gets most everything off. I have purchased it at Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes and Target. Check around for the best. It has varied

    I use a soap infused steel wool pad like Brillo and scrub it.

    I like to sprinkle baking soda in the pot or pan and then squirt a little dish soap on top, then scrub. It's amazing how much gunk this combination removes.
