How do I get rid of the film left on my laminate floors after washing

When I wash my laminate floors there is a surface film left on them. Every footprint shows up as a smear and within a short time they look terrible.

Use a Floormate cleaner for hard floors it works like a carpet cleaner only for laminate and other hard surfaces. For quick cleaning use a swifter mop.
Swifter makes pre moistened pads that actually don't leave a residue. and they smell good.
