You can bleach it if it’s a unfinished bowl? Is this bowl going to be used for food or decorations purposes? If decoration you can bleach it and then take Steel wool fine grit and use a product like Watco oil to reseal the wood and give it a shine. Oil also comes in different colors or clear!
If you using it for food bleach it just a short time and then rinse it well and let it dry out good. Once dry use steel wool fine grit and vegetable oil and rub the bowl down with the steel wool and oil that will fine sand the wood and seal with the oil at the same time. Just use a dry rag to wipe down of any excess oil! This should keep your bowl from molding and you can wipe it down with vegetabl oil anytime to clean and reseal the bowl. Just as you should do any wood cutting board to keep the wood grain sealed from letting germs soaking into your wood grain! Good luck

Soak the bowl in white vinegar to kill the mold, followed by a light washing with baking soda
If the bowl is to be used for food, I would not recommend using bleach. Scrub the bowl with hot soapy water then sand it to remove any remaining mold. Check with places like Home Depot for food safe ways to stain and seal the finish.
