Remove glue and foam from wooden blocks

Question

I want to reuse blocks that had rubber stamps mounted on them. How can I remove the glue and foam residue from the blocks after I remove the rubber stamp?

Try using goo-gone or Krud Kutter available in the paint department at Home Improvement stores.

Nail polish remover has acetone as its prime ingredient that dissolves glue.

All of the above answers are great; try a simpler one? Put the blocks in the freezer for 24 hours - likely the thin layer of backing that's stuck to the blocks that held the rubber stamp on will crack and be able to be smoothly scraped off - same if its just a glue residue! <3 ~xXxo™
